Hard-to-Forget Experience

It feels so nice to be home again. Well, I was home last evening but I felt super ill to be up and about so I left this diary post till now.
I participated in the FTBC 2011 Run One held at OBS East Coast Camp. It was supposed to be a bonding and get-to-know-each-other session. We also got to learn and experience for ourselves the CIRCLE values upheld by members of the school.
Students from different schools of the university were placed in groups. I belonged in Zonda group 5 - SpongeBob Ignited!
The cheers were fun, the games were wacky and the food were great! I had fun making up the cheers within the group; I felt great learning the Zonda (you're so fine) cheer; I loved the food even though it was spicy and I dont do spicy so well.
The only sad thing was the rain. It kept raining whenever we wanted to carry out the activities aka challenges. So most of the time, we stayed indoors and played games like Horizontal Spiderweb and Murderer.
In fact, yesterday rained so heavily that the tents were flooded. Almost all my things were soaking wet. No amount of hanging to dry could have salvaged it by the next day.
Worst of all, I felt a headache building since morning and it became worse as time creeps by. Turns out my muscles ache too. Oh dear, is it stomach flu?
Now, my throat hurts and I found out I have been bitten by insects on my thighs. All around my thighs. Yucks!
Despite the sicky feeling and the squishy wet stuff, I had made a few friends, at least 2 I hope. Hope the other freshmen who stuck around had more fun than I did!
Luck and blessings for the others who havent been to the camp.
I wanted Rafting and Tunneling~ Be prepared!
